We are in a world where every one blames someone or a situation for their success or failures. Most especially failures. Our religious bodies have not helped the situation as well because they encourage people to think along the line of people being behind their failures.
A good percentage of people do some many things everyday it becomes so easy. Habit does not have a strange definition different from this. Any act that has become consistent with you mechanically has become a habit. Most times these habits are picked up without knowing. Most behaviour is picked up while we are growing up and it comes up as a generational trend. It takes contact with information and ability to take decisive action to change that can break the trend.
If you are still reading this piece it means you know the importance of information and desire change. The great news is that you can reprogram your mindset. You should at this point be undergoing a self check of your habits. Take an all round self check to identify how you have led your life to this point of contact with this information.
Most times many tend to dabble at change and quit from trying after a few weeks of trial at a particular activity or behaviour. Its a well known fact that it is difficult to unlearn as an adult to learn new things. The objective of this piece is to encourage you to be consistent in the reprogramming process of your habits.
What habits are you checking? Is it in the are of Good health, financial independence? or relationship building? Start now to begin that self check and decide that you will not quit in your reprogramming exercise because the results of bad habits usually do not show up until much later in life.
Negative habits breed negative consequences while successful habits create positive rewards. The end result of one who is consistent with negative habits is definitely failure. So, do you choose to end up in a negative way, when you can actually change your habits? One right step everyday leads you towards positive habits. If you want a healthy life, do you live healthy habits? Are you eating the right kind of food? Do exercise? Do you sleep as at when due?
If you have a savings and investment plan. Are you saving ten percent of your income consistently and religiously? or do you fall by the way after a while?
Resolve to change your thinking, so that you can change your life! Your habits will either make or mare you.
