OPTIMUM WOMEN AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION CELEBRATING UN INTERACTION AL DAY FOR VOILENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN ABUJA

On the 25th of November 2015, Optimum Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation. An NGO based in Abuja joined the rest of the world to celebrate the United Nation international day for VOILENCE Against Women. The event was well attended by a cross section of rural women from communities around FCT. Notable speakers spoke on different ares from Human rights to assess free legal aid. Also the role of journalism in combating violence was discussed. Responses from the women and questions showed that they got the message and we're more informed as regards fighting violence against women. This orange event will continue till 10th December 2015.
