The hand that rocks the cradle, the home maker and the nation builder; a help mate for the man according to God's injunction.
The presence of a woman in the family is very pertinent for the upbringing of children. It is germane to note that the importance of the woman is not limited to her children alone. The woman is also responsible for taking care of her spouse hence the biblical assertion that she is 'help mate for the man'. Although it takes two to successfully bring up a child, the role of the woman in the rearing of children is very paramount. for the woman to be able to play her role in the family in particular, and in the society in general, extreme care should be taken to ensure that the woman herself is adequately prepared for it. This is because a woman can only discharge her role in the family only when she is properly trained and adequately prepared for this role. Society gains immensely when the woman is fully equipped to play her role. Society equally losses when it fails to train and equip the woman for her enormous responsibilities in nation-building.
The woman requires careful acquisition of information and knowledge to equip her for her roles. One of such roles is housekeeping which is learned in the family. A girl-child should endeavor to have a grasp of her environment and personal hygiene should be of paramount interest to her.
Train a woman well and the society will be filled with geniuses.
