"If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else." Yogi Berra
"Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success" Stephen A. Brennan.
In your long walk to financial freedom, do you know were you going? It is not enough to say you want to achieve financial freedom. How much do you want to earn? when? which vehicle will you use to get there? What is financial freedom for one person might just be the spring board of the next person. So, there is a need for you to define what is financial freedom to you.
Having defined your financial freedom, what plan do you have in place to achieve this path way? Do you believe in your plan to the point of no return? You have to practice the act of visualizing your plan, the plan has to be broken down to time lines. At what point do you want to achieve a particular time line? You have to take consistent action on your plan daily. Your plan must be realistic. It has to be a plan you can relate with.
Surround yourself with people who can propel you to achieve your plan, anybody around who is not adding value to you should be disconnected. Be around people who will energize you. Never underestimate the power of around you. The more negative people you have around you the more you will begin to think like them and vice verse.
Spend time and energy on your plan. So many people complain not to have time but spend their time doing nothing or doing things that are not in line with their plan.
Follow your tenaciously. As you take action on your plan you will come across all kinds of obstacles and barriers. Face them and attack them if you must succeed.
